Hardware Recommendations

Guideline for our users.

1. These recommendations are applicable for any companies included into Rare Earth Group, HASHEIGHT, BOOST, Turnaround Guide, 2R and their affiliates.

2. Developing our products of any kind, especially digital software, products, and services, we have the ultimate priority to deliver the user's the highest satisfaction and pleasure getting from such interaction. That means we expect that the user shall get the experience 100% matching with our product expectations, which we wanted to present to the user at the time of product development and design. The user's experience shall be 100% aligned with our vision, which we want to convey through our digital products. That also applies to design, interfaces, and the experience of interacting with our products.

3. Our digital products and software are not the only determinants of the user experience. The main contribution to the user experience comes from the hardware through which the user interacts with our digital products.

4. In this regard, we draw your attention to the following information. All Rare Earth businesses are on digital primacy. That sets definite standards for digital design, digital marketing, and ways to interact with the external environment.

5. If the content of this website or our software products does not display correctly on your device, you will need to replace your device. There are no technical errors in our products, and the incorrect display of content is a built-in hardware error of your hardware device that you use to interact with our website and our software products. Most likely, you are not aware of the presence of such technical errors in your device, since the manufacturer of this device, being unable to solve this error, does not inform you about it at the time of selling the device to you or teaches it to you as a "feature" of the device. Traditionally such features are attributed to differences between operating systems, hardware devices, and other "differences." However, there is no such concept as a "difference" in the development and production of software and hardware products. There are operating systems and devices that work correctly, and there are incorrectly working systems and devices containing technical and logical errors, and which the manufacturer didn't resolve and presents that as "product differences." Since no idiot buys a device that initially contains bugs and errors that the manufacturer can't fix, they sell these devices to you as devices with "features" of the operating system or the device itself. The manufacturer does not fix such bugs and errors because it is too expensive or impossible to fix. Therefore, the manufacturer offers you a solution consisting of patches that, even together, aren't able to ensure the smooth operation of your equipment. That's reflected in various technical and logical limitations imposed by the product manufacturers and extensive DIY opportunities for the user to correct the technical and logic part of the purchased products. If you buy hardware with the ability to freely access its hardware inside or the ability to adjust the OS and core software program codes to ensure its operation at an acceptable level for you, you purchased a low-quality device containing initially errors made by manufacturer. The price of the device does not matter.

6. In addition to built-in technical, logical, and engineering errors, the devices you purchase have limitations in use. They were designed to solve a limited number of user tasks of a limited range, mainly household. Such devices are not intended for intensive digital interaction and communications in the global digital network. They initially have a different functional purpose, even if the buyer declares otherwise. We are confident that you were not aware of this at the time of purchase and that you made them being guided by advertising and not a clear understanding of the features, specifications, and demonstrated differences in product performance that you will “enjoy” in real life after purchase.

7. Rare Earth business is based on substantial products and services created, produced, and sold using digital infrastructure and digital environments. The core elements of the digital environment are digital design, speed of interaction, and the ability to solve users' tasks. These components work together to provide the user with an experience of interacting with our products and services. Until the rollout of Project 3000 and the transition to complete our infrastructure, software, and hardware, we are temporarily forced to use third-party solutions and services. That can compromise the user experience of our customers, as none of the third-party solutions and components we purchase today can provide us with the services and products of the high quality we require. Considering that, we cannot guarantee that our users will get the user experience following our expectations since we do not have complete control of the entire value chain within our business at the moment.

8. Before switching to HASHEIGHT in-house hardware, Apple products are the technical standard for all Rare Earth Group businesses. The hardware and software products of this company alone are capable of providing our customers with a consistently high-quality user experience. Only Apple hardware meets our requirements as it was originally designed to support correct typography, typefaces, fonts, color and image transmission, and other digital design elements. If the content of our website or our software product does not display correctly on your device, then you are using another hardware that does not contain a properly functioning font and graphics recognition engine. Only Apple equipment is equipped with such modules at the moment. In addition, Apple technology lacks many other technical, engineering, and software issues common to other products from other companies, even if they are widely available and heavily advertised as Apple counterparts at a lower or comparable price.

9. Despite this, we do not limit our customers and users in the choice of technical means for working and interacting with products manufactured by the enterprises of the Rare Earth group. You can use any device if you like it, despite the inherent gross technical defects and errors at the time of the development and engineering design of such devices, and the inability of these devices to provide you with a user experience of the appropriate high quality for communications in the digital environment. This website, like other Rare Earth Group products, is intended for users of any electronic device on a non-discriminatory basis. However, at the moment, not all devices with which users communicate on the Internet and use our products are equipped with technical means of recognizing fonts and graphics that can correctly display information, and are also able to provide the user with the level of interaction and response on user actions that we expected when developing products. At this time, only devices and hardware manufactured by Apple have these characteristics. If you are satisfied with the low-speed response, improper loading of content, lopsided fonts, loose images, or other display problems on your device's display when you interact with our products, you may continue to use your device.

10. If the device you are using is not an Apple device, the content of websites, our software products, graphics, texts, and other design and content elements of our digital products may and are likely to be displayed with distortions, which are expressed in the arbitrary appearance of stuck lines, sparse paragraphs, heterogeneous fonts, loss of graphic and design elements.

11. Such problems with displaying content will be typical primarily for users of Samsung hardware with their preinstalled operating systems, Android smartphones, and non-English versions of our products, for Cyrillic fonts, calligraphic fonts of oriental languages, and some others.

12. At the moment, we guarantee the correct operation of our software and any digital products in their English versions on Apple devices. We cannot guarantee the expected level operation of the products on other hardware devices, for Cyrillic and oriental fonts.

13 We expect that the final product releases will contain a ready-made solution to this problem, however, we will not change our technical standards, and in any case, the priority for us is to integrate our products and services with hardware manufactured by Apple.

14. To avoid such errors in the future, and to guarantee the expected user experience, we will manufacture our hardware. The software that is produced by Rare Earth factories, and any digital products we create, involve the manufacture of our hardware, components and infrastructure.

15. However, Apple is the gold standard for our hardware as well. It is not Rare Earth's policy to adapt or replace the contents of our products for imperfect or incomplete devices, even if they are widely produced and sold for the mass market. Adapting our products to technically imperfect hardware devices means compromising user experience and depriving users of the opportunity to get the most out of our products.

16. Since the user experience and the pleasure of interacting with our products is our top priority when creating our products, we are not ready to lower the bar down to low quality and poorly made technology products. In this regard, we assume as, for stable and pleasurable interaction with our products, we recommend that you replace your device with Apple products, or wait for the release of our own hardware devices.
